The United States blames China for the most greenhouse gases, and therefore they are the ones responsible for finding a solution to the problem. However, when you think about it, is it really China's fault? China is a mass producer for most of the world's goods, and from personal experience, I can say that just about everything I own was probably manufactured in China. The point of this article is to say that consumers must share some of the blame. China would not be manufacturing so many products, that will emit greenhouse gases, if not for such a high demand for the products. I find the issue to be very important because most people are so quick to judge big businesses, saying that all they care about is making money. Perhaps that is true, but there is not one consumer who can say that they are not promoting said "greedy businessman's" everyday, when they purchase everyday products. This shows that everyone can help make a difference with climate change, not just big businesses.
