Princeton and MIT have conducted experiments that make the future slightly more predictable. While this sight does not explain how the experiment was conducted, it does explain the results: if global warming continues, it will lead to more catastrophic storms such as hurricanes and "grey swans". If matters become increasingly worse, by the end of the century, Florida would be submerged. Mind you, these are worst case scenarios, however, while the chance of that happening today is 1/10,000 the chance of it occurring by the end of the century becomes 1/700.
