This article addresses the effect we have on different ecosystems due to the human caused effects of climate change. Specifically, the article discusses sea turtles. Sea turtles do not have an X or Y chromosome; temperature determines the sex of the sea turtles. Warmer environments produce females, while cooler periods produce males. Because of this and the effects of global warming, there are too many female sea turtles, which for obvious reasons makes reproduction significantly more difficult.
